BADC FURTHER LEVEL WEAPON CERTIFICATION IN DAGGER Bethan will be leading this Further Level Weapon certification! Our weekend weapon certifications provide compact, industry recognised training designed to make you a more skilled and confident combatant. SCHEDULE: Friday 30th September to Monday 3rd October Friday 10.00 - 18.30 Saturday 14.30 - 18.30 Sunday 12.30 - 18.30 Monday 10.00 - 17.00 Doors open 15 minutes before each session. The training focuses on the fundamental skills required to perform convincing violent action when armed with a dagger or knife. Ranging from battlefield to domestic use, this is one of the smallest, most challenging and most commonly used weapons in an actor-combatant’s toolkit. You will be working towards performing a choreographed fight within the context of a scripted scene. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS: A complete, consolidated Standard Certification. Be working towards Intermediate or Advanced Actor-Combatant status. You must attend for the full training schedule to be able to participate in the Exam on Monday 3rd October. PRICE: Early Bird Offer until 16th September 2022: £220 Full Price: £260 Exam Fee is included in the course price. VENUE INFO: Tooting Dojo is located a 12 minute walk from South Wimbledon Tube, a 5 minute walk from Morden Road Tram Stop or a 25 minute walk from Wimbledon Rail station. Free secure car parking and bike store facilities are available on site. Kitchen available for water, hot drinks and microwave. No cafe/food shop facilities on site. FURTHER INFO: Please bring a separate, clean pair of trainers to wear inside, these can be kept overnight at the venue. You are training in a traditional dojo so a change of shoes is required from outside to inside! All weapon systems require a minimum of 20 hours training prior to examination. Weapon certifications are valid for 4 years. All courses will run according to current COVID guidelines.

Cancellation Policy

Up to seven days before the start of the course you can credit the full fee to another course, or get a full refund, should you need to cancel your place due to unforeseen circumstances. Should you need to cancel after this we will refund or transfer 50% of the course fee. Once the course has started there are no refunds or fee transfers.
