Like all forms of athletic and physical activity, dramatic combat carries with it a small element of risk of injury. Every effort will be made to ensure your safety over the course, and to this end we request that any personal injury, medication and/or condition that you wish to have taken into account be disclosed to the course leader before the start of the course. Any details disclosed will remain confidential.
Neither the venue nor the course leader will accept responsibility for negligence from participants who fail to take into account their own safety as well as the safety of other participants during the course.
This training will demand you are physically working for full course hours. This course is not suitable if you have, or are recovering from, a physical injury.
No participant will be allowed to take part in any element of the course if they are suspected of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs. In such an instance no refunds will be given.
By signing below, it is understood that participants accept the details within this contract and recognise that they are participating in this course with the knowledge of the dangers involved, hereby agreeing to accept any and all inherent risks of personal injury.
Image release
I give my permission to have my photographic image taken during this course, and for these images to be used on websites and social media platforms for the purposes of promoting future courses.

The only personal data that we will collect or process is the information provided directly by you on the course registration form. This includes: the date you signed up, first and last name(s), contact email address, contact telephone number, date of birth, date the course was paid for, previous experience in stage combat, health information that you would like us to take into account, emergency telephone number and name of emergency contact, how you found our organisation, and any comments added as ‘further information’.
The above noted personal data will be processed purely for the legitimate interests of providing the course that participants have signed up to. This includes contacting you to provide details about this course and further training options, providing resources for use on the course (e.g. script selection), checking age eligibility, and gathering information to allow the course to be delivered in a manner applicable to student requirements (e.g. previous experience and health conditions).
