I am a Fight Director and BADC accredited Stage Combat teacher. I trained under Master Teacher Rachel Bown-Williams and am delighted to be an Emerging Fight Director and Associate Fight Instructor for Rc-Annie Ltd.

As a Fight Director, I always aim to work sensitively to the needs of the scene, as well as with the skills and strengths of the performers involved. I enjoy creating action which is bold, dramatic and truthful to the demands of the piece. My CV can be found here.

My aim as a teacher is to encourage and empower my students for the practical application of their skills in the industry. My route to dramatic combat came via my work as an actor. I trained at Drama Centre (MA Classical Acting) and prior to that at Exeter University gaining a first class BA (Hons) in Drama. As a result, making the performance the centre of the action which fuels the movement, intentions and interactions is my priority.

I believe that ongoing training matters therefore I continue to train both in the UK and internationally to enhance and challenge my practice. Active & recent training includes ongoing study of Goju-Ryu Karate, IOSP Paddy Crean Workshop, Aerial Stunt Rigging & Aerial Acrobatics, McBane HEMA Workshop.
